I purchased my first 2 quarts of Michigan Strawberries this week. Yum. I will get more of them and make freezer jam. The Michigan berries might not be as big as the ones imported from Calif. or Florida--but they are red all the way through and don't have those big white cores :-) I'd better hurry, because the raspberries will be right behind them and we'll be making Raspberry freezer jam too.

We have two lovely pink Dogwoods that always bloom about Mother's Day (in May). This year they did not disappoint us. They are a welcome (early) flower after the long winter!

I decided to give this one a little more watercolor to give the appearance it truly did have with lots of trees over and around--plus I put a different color border around it and it seems more restful to me...As I said, a very relaxing place to have Lunch and tea.

I was so amused by this picture my Granddaughter sent me...It's our two Great-Grandchildren (age 4 & Age 2) surfing the web. The caption under the picture said "This is just the beginning."
Now I'll know who to call when I'm "stuck" with a problem on my computer, etc.

Plum Tea Room Porch NoteCard

Oops! This is the picture Ruth wanted me to make into a Note Card...so I put a little pink border around it to highlight the color in the sketch. It was a very relaxing place to dine.

April Showers bring Flowers

My Ruth encouraged me to make a notecard from one of the "alphabet" pictures I did during the winter. Of course this stands
for the letter "U". All I could think of was rain bringing flowers...so here it is.

Notecard Season

I'm making some notecards--hope these will take someone's eye.
It was fun painting them--as they are from different areas that we
visited.
