Sindbad's on the River

We went downtown to Sindbad's (before Christmas) to have one of our favorites there -- The Ocean Perch Dinner -- It was decorated to look very festive for the Holidays.  I always like their Spicy Tomato Juice without the alcohol (other wise known as a virgin mary) because they give you 3 Giant olives :-)   I sketched the drink and finally watercolored it at home!  Very hard to get the color correct for Tomato Juice  :-)

Watercoloring the Alphabet

We did a fun thing several years ago--I divided a  page in my watercolor journal into 6 squares and sketched something from daily life each day going through the alphabet.  This is my A, B, C, D, E, & F  page.
It was a good thing to do to keep into watercolor during the Winter.  I may do it again.....

Snow last week...

We had snow last week several times and this is what my front walk looked like after the Snow-Shovelers cleared the walk (to our Condo).  Thank goodness we don't need to shovel any longer :-)
Last Night it rained and today it is 54' and all the snow melted.  This is a watercolor that I did last year, but needed to change my post so I went into my "archives" and found this one.   Happy New Year!
