POINTSETTIAS

I always buy three or four small Pointsettias to have around the house for Christmas. This one was on our Kitchen Table for the season. (and it still is) We don't put up a Tree anymore (too much work putting it away :-) We buy a big fresh wreath for over the fireplace and decorate with our Little Village, Pointsettias, etc.
These little Pointsettias usually last into the Springtime, and are fun to have around just to see how long we can keep them pretty.
So.....here's a little "sketch" for posterity. Happy New Year to all!

HI Marj,

This is what I do also, I have not had a tree for several years. I passed down my ornaments to my children and it is so nice to see them enjoying the family traditions.
I like your simple rendering of this colorful plant.

Hi Marj, your granddaughter Laura sent me the link to your blog - your watercolors are awesome! Laura says you're working on a recipe for my site, They Draw & Cook! I can't wait to see it. Cheers Marj.
