Here we go doing Roadside Wildflowers again....the Phlox are so pretty among all the green on the Road sides right now. Even spotted a few Daisies on the way home today. The Dandelions have come and gone (to seed) already.
Don't ever stop doing roadside flowers. They are so pretty and encouraging to me who still does not have any roadside flowers in my neck of the woods. It's been a cold slow spring.
Oh, how I love phlox . . . such a wonderful fragrance! Beautiful painting that triggers memories from my childhood on the farm. Thanks for sharing all your lovely talent.
About 15 years ago, a friend enouraged me to come to a watercolor class. That was the beginning of a hobby that I truly enjoy.
A few years later, I joined a "Watercolor Sketchbook Journal" class taught by Catherine Carey author of "A Petoskey Watercolor Journal." see: www.catherinestudio.blogspot.com/
Since then we have taken many trips and watercolored and journaled most of them.
My husband and I are now retired and we both enjoy ministering to people through our Church. He does Hospital visits and ministers to the elderly. I have found that sending people greeting cards with my simple watercolor sketches on them seem to be treasured.
God has greatly enriched our lives with Beauty and I like to show my gratitude by displaying His Glory in my art. I'm hoping that my watercolors bring joy to others, and praise and worship to our Creator. Marj. M.
