This past summer at my Sketchbook/Watercolor Class, we were walking around Bay View, MI looking for things to paint. My husband was there and as we passed a very small lily pond, I asked him to take a photo of it--and I would paint my version of it later...and I did.
It was probably a little muddier (?) around it, but you know, "artist's license."

Your pretty little painting made me want to take a walk through Bay View today. It was VERY quiet - beautiful, but too quiet. They only have about three more weeks before it closes down for the season.
