- About 15 years ago, a friend enouraged me to come to a watercolor class. That was the beginning of a hobby that I truly enjoy. A few years later, I joined a "Watercolor Sketchbook Journal" class taught by Catherine Carey author of "A Petoskey Watercolor Journal." see: www.catherinestudio.blogspot.com/ Since then we have taken many trips and watercolored and journaled most of them. My husband and I are now retired and we both enjoy ministering to people through our Church. He does Hospital visits and ministers to the elderly. I have found that sending people greeting cards with my simple watercolor sketches on them seem to be treasured. God has greatly enriched our lives with Beauty and I like to show my gratitude by displaying His Glory in my art. I'm hoping that my watercolors bring joy to others, and praise and worship to our Creator. Marj. M.

P.S. Love the American Spoon Food painting. I can just picture it.
Love your store front, it would make a cute postcard. Once I did that for a local business and they bought the art to make into postcards for their shop. Just an idea!
